My historic set design reconstruction for the opening performance of The House of Bernarda Alba performed at the Avenida Theatre in Buenos Aires in 1945.

PROCESS PHOTOS

  • The walls are constructed out of foam core and painted with beige tones using a sponge to give a speckled texture.

  • Wooden chairs are laser cut and painted black.

  • The curtains are cut out to jute tape and finished off with brown sewing string for tassle.

  • The Painting are printed and mounted on card board with the side coloured black to add dimension to the picture frames
